Supernatural social psych episodes...?
Jan. 19th, 2010 09:44 pmHey, all. I’m in a social psychology class at college, and we have a project in which we have to watch a movie (although I’m thinking I can convince my teacher to let me do it on a TV show instead, in this case Supernatural) and document a few scenes that entail various social psych concepts. I feel Supernatural has a LOT to do with these such concepts, as in Sam and Dean’s social deviance, their inner and outer conflicts, their relationships with society, etc.
My question to you, then, is what episodes/scenes do you think would be good to use? I’m planning to use three episodes, a scene from each (though this is flexible), and so far, I’m thinking the Pilot and “What Is and What Should Never Be,” both being pretty relatable to social psychology-type aspects. However, I’m still vacillating about which episode to use for a third example, and was wondering your guys’ opinion?
I did pose this question on IMDb, and got a variety of responses (listed below, and excluding the Pilot and “WIAWSNB”), but if you have any other suggestions, or would like to describe/elaborate on the following episodes, that’d be awesome:
( Possible episodes to use )
